The Perfectstroke Pro Putting System has all the benefits of the original Perfectstroke but also has a number of other key features including a very practical elastic line and aiming cup.
The underneath part of the base also has lines marked on it which represent inches right or left when the base is placed behind the hole and you use the supplied elastic line.
It can also be used to help practice breaking putts or do tests and measurements with breaking putts on the SAM Puttlab. With a ten foot putt one inch right or left of the hole equates to around 1.5 degrees, six inches around 3.5 degrees and eleven inches is around 6 degrees.
There are at least 26 different ways to use the Perfectstroke Pro System on the putting green or to practice at home or the office which ensures that putting practice is always interesting and there is variety in practice.
The Perfectstroke Pro helps to improve alignment of the face at address and impact, provides perfect stroke path and improves the face relationship to path as well as many other benefits. The elastic line can be run towards the hole with the base unit being displayed with the vertically marked lines facing the player. Straight putts can be hit anywhere under the line and breaking putts can be hit by moving the line along the base unit. The elastic line can be used as an extension of the alignment strip in the normal set up of the Perfectstroke which provides excellent feedback on the starting direction of putts as well as training the eyes to see correct lines.
The aid can also be used very effectively for training with breaking putts with this setup, which also helps a player to learn how much putts are actually breaking. The Perfectstroke Pro can also be set up to practice a straight back and through stroke or at least a stroke that minimises the arc of the stroke and lessens the face rotation. An alignment strip can be set up directly over the ball/target line and the heel or toe of the putter can rest against the vertically positioned base. Another option with the Perfectstroke Pro is to set it up as a tilted plane device which has a lie angle of around 72 degrees. The heel or toe of the putter rest's against the plane device and there are markings which can help to control the length of the stroke.
The Perfectstroke base can also be used as a stimp meter to help determine the speed of the surfaces you are practicing on. The DVD which is included is hosted by golf professional and commentator Brett Officer and includes a number of very useful drills and exercises which will also help you to develop great feed for distance.

I use the Perfectstroke in combination with the SAM PuttLab system to better understand the interaction between the multiple factors involved in a successful putting stroke. Using the Perfectstroke you have a slightly arced "natural" stroke and a smooth rotation of the club face through impact. Shortening down the backswing then improves consistency of face angle at impact.

The Perfectstroke Pro is the Best Putting Training aid I have ever seen. I use it 2-3 times a week on real greens at my club, and I have used it to help some of my students understand and feel the stroke better. I have noticed that most of the time the alignment has been the most improved and in turn better alignment makes for better stokes. I love it on breaking putts also and I have noticed that everyone that has used it at the beginning is shocked as to how much break they really have to play to make putts.

The Perfectstroke Pro is the best training tool for golf putting improvement available in the world today. It is so versatile and has so many adaptations and uses that it helps the player in the four main elements of putting, green reading, alignment, stroke mechanics and developing distance control.
