Swing Governor

The Swing Governor is a tool to assist you learn the modern swing, as used succesfully by the younger tour players.

The Swing Governor fits between the legs, just above the knees, where it remains during the backswing, and will slip out when the downswing is initiated by the Hips. If the downswing is not initiated with the Hips, the Swing Governor becomes trapped between your legs, causing you to abandon your swing.

It restricts the Hips from turning with the shoulders, so that there is a Coil
between the Upper & Lower body (Higher X Factor).
It initiates the downswing with the hips (because of the coil and separation
between the upper & lower body) ... instead of the hands, so that through
impact, you are hitting with the powerful lower body.
It engages the required Inner leg and Core muscles, so you are
balanced and able to retain your posture & technique while swinging.
This product has a high retention factor, ie. when you use it you
immediately get the right feeling. But more importantly, after you remove
the Swing Governor after minimal use, you still retain this feeling. This
means you learn quicker.

Pro Tips

The Swing Governor is a very good aid that helps to get the lower half resisting the turn of the upper body providing the X factor to increase clubhead speed. It also helps to ensure that the lower half turn is level on the backswing so a reverse pivot cannot take place. You are able to hit balls as well as do practice swings and do drills while using this aid.
